wat's the gain on adding dp's without a catback? or is it just like adding a catback alone?

Default According to youreviltwin.....

The DP's make a difference, even with the stock exhaust. From 2500-5500, there's a strong push, which tapers off to "stock power" from there to redline.

Default do you happen to know if it will drone just by putting the DPs? I prolly wont do exhaust until

later on in time but Im really interested in getting dps and replacing the tips on the stock exhaust.

Default Why would you want to keep the "crimpmasta" stock exhaust??

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/44814/stock_exhaust_crimp.jpg">

Not sure I see the reasoning behind putting money on dp's to get extra flow, when your already restricting yourself with the stock exhaust.

Default cost really. so do you recommend go with the catback first, then add dps later on.

if dps will get me better gain than the "crimpmasta" exhaust then I might as well work with that first. I will eventally do a full back.

Default Well, the power comes from the dp's, not from the exhaust.

So if you go catback, your going to have a great sounding and looking exhaust, but the power comes with the dp's.

Either do it at the same time, or do the catback first. Make sure that you express interest with the purchase though, cause you should get a deal if your going to buy dp's from the same tuner at a later point.

That crimpmasta is just terrible. Not worth spending the money on the dp's if your going to keep that stock exhaust. Go fullback at the same time (and get a deal), or go with the catback first and then dp's.

NOW, res or non-res? ;-p

Default Thanks for the input. I think I will wait to get both at the same time. AND DEF RES for me : )

as much as I love the non-res sound. I think that I already attract too much attention from cops with the color, dont have them to give me another reason to stop me.
