Have any of you B6 S4s raced CLK 500s, i bet you guys have :-)..both auto and manual
The CLK 500 has less horsepower but more torque than the s4, 339 lb-ft @ 2,700-4,250 rpm.
the 0-60 in a manual s4 is 5.3 and 5.6 in automatic listed.
the 0-60 in an automatic 7 speed clk 500 is 5.7 listed.
I havent gotten a chance to race any cars yet, i have been driving kinda slow, i guess i am still breaking my car in even though its got 3000 miles ha,
just curious to know what you guys have experienced after a race with a clk 500,
i am pretty sure the manuals destroy the CLK i just want to know by how much......

Yeah...my buddy drives one.
Great looking car.
I raced him in my stage 2 B5 (six speed), and worked him pretty good. On the highway, it was much closer, but I slowly pulled.
I have not raced him in my B6 yet...but would expect almost identical results, as my stage 2 was about as fast as my B6. Actually, the B6 would probably be even faster at high freeway speed.

This was all highway
He flew up on my tail and I was doing about 90.
We proceeded to play cat and mouse. I could not pull him but he pulled me by a few car lengths each time. Fourth gear power seemed like I was dragging a trailer when compared to him.
A very nice ride too.
