B6 S4 Matrix Integrated intake update - 4 weeks!
I just wanted to keep you in the loop on our B6 S4 cold air intake. We just received word that the CAI we designed (the intake is manufactured by one of our partners, Alta Performance) on our in-house Mustang AWD chassis dyno, for optimal use with GIAC programming, will be ready for sale in 4 weeks. I am not able to share pictures of our setup for a few more weeks, but I can pass on that the price of our full CAI kit will be $429 retail, with a limited introductory price of $399. From the numerous independent dyno tests of our CAI vs the competition, we have found our CAI to make almost 3times as much power as the competition.

30+. I dont buy it but we will have to wait until someone gets it
It is supposed to be a true cold air intake. It will look prettier than strats but im happy with it anyway.
the competition would be strat, Matrix 3 times more than the competition are probably not 3 times over what strat claims, but 3 times more than Matrix claims strat makes. I like the strat one but im interested in this.

I'm guessing that, veiled within this claim....
is the thought that the Strat intake is not making 10 hp but more like 3hp.
I'm interested too. This just proves how important it is to hit the market first with a product, cause I already have the Hyperflow but I still may buy the Matrix.

It'll sell, I'm sure, because people want things that are different.
Same with the Milltek. Great exhausts, but people are always interested in having something that the next guy doesn't.
Hell, we did buy the S4, didn't we? And I bought a wagon, so I'm guilty too.
But the 3x gain, sounds like marketing BS to me. 429 is steep for an intake if you ask me.
In order to gauge the gains correctly, we need for someone to dyno their car and vag it with a certain setup, vag/dyno the car with the SAME setup just using the hyperflow, and then again SAME setup just using the Matrix. Same day, same conditions.
