I thought you guys might get a kick out of this
I'm in Aspen for a long weekend and they publish this magazine called "Aspen Magazine". They published a list of the latest "status symbols". A quote from the magazine:
Porsche Carrera GT
Having your own mountain shrine
Riding a Vespa
Park bench with your name on it
Being a nerd (think local Sun Microsystems Bill Joy)
Audi S4
Aspen Police Department lib balm
Aspen Highlands Ski Patrol hat
Highland Bowl pin
Range Rover HSE
Being entirely self made
Having a day job, if only for social causes
Being cryogenically preserved for future socializing
Having a "green" home
Supporting the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies
Having real ZG license plates
Pretty funny to see the S4 on this list. I doidn't realize we were so chic. ;-)
