Default ESP Problem

I had a 2004 a6 4.2 and never had a problem with my ESP, but now I have a 2005 S4 Tip. When I am at a full stop and floor it, the ESP kicks in a the engine bogs. This is in sport, regular and tip. Now if I turn ESP off it does not do that, but should I have to? I dont think I should have to shut it off just to floor it off the line. Has anyone else got a fix for this other than esp off?

Default With a 6 spd, for max performance, we turn the ESP off. BUT

If you don't turn it off the car still accelerates without a problem. Don't really know if this is an issue with other tip cars.

Default My A6 4.2 experience is

My A6 4.2 had something similar going on. If (all with my right foot) I went from the brake pedal to quickly nail the throttle the car would go into extreme hesitation mode. Just about got creamed a few times while pulling into traffic. I found that if I paused ever so slightly between the brake release and the throttle application the problem went away.

Default I'm convinced the "chop throttle" effect is

one of the driving nannies intervening via DBW, but I don't think it is necessarily related to wheelspin as you would expect if ESP was intervening. I don't think all of the instances in which I experienced the "chop throttle" nonsense would have been due to wheelspin such as on dry pavement- so I think something else is going on too.
ESP off is the only way I have found to prevent it. If we get excessive wheelspin in our tips, it'll shift out of 1st gear into 2nd and that'll cause a pretty good lurch too.... unfortunately its impossible to hold revs close to redline for us.
I have noticed I get better launches in S mode tho. I feels like the DBW gives something closer to max throttle from a stop in S than in Tip mode, cause the car seems to leap away more quickly.
Anyone else do any experimentation with that?

Default Want a real rush..

I just got Revo'd. Cranked up the throttle response (boost in the manual) to "9" with an SPS-3. HOLY !@#!@. Doesn't feel like a "9", feels like an "11".
