Default I wouldn't necessarily say he's MISSING it.............

I would gladly trade my hyperflow for any of his mods. Skip it. Great setup!

Default Returned It

Not impressed with the Hyperflow or the dirt it allows into your engine. I will wait until someone comes up with a real cold air intake.

Default ballar.

STaSIS motorsport brake and suspension setups? I'm envious. Like seriously envious.

Congrats.

Default Now you're worrying me. What do you mean the dirt it lets into the engine? How do you know this?

I'm just curious.

Isn't the whole function of an air intake to allow more air into the engine? Sure, if you have more restrictive material to capture dirt, then the flow of air will suffer also, no?

Maybe I'm missing something...

Default That's the complaint about K&N filters as well. Less restrictive= more air, more dirt.

All mods are a gamble. Some have lost MAFs because of the intake, etc.

A true CAI will not be less susceptible to this theory...so not sure what the ***** is thinking.

Default Few things that help

are to not have all three plastic pieces coming in to the filter. I left off the one piece that tilts down at the filter (drops crap right onto the element) havent noticed any performance loss from it. Also helps to realize when you are going through a damn dust cloud (construction site), just dont be doing any full throttle passes through a cloud of anything (i usually drop it out of gear and coast to minimize suction)

hehe, suction...

most little bits of particulate will pass right through anyway, with regular service intervals and proper filter maintenance, there is no reason your engine should get gummed up.
