RPM stays at 3K or above when shifting
It happens 2 or 3 times per week. Even with my clutch all the way down, the RPM stays above 3K and really have to release the clutch slowly for smooth shifting.
Anyone experienced this and know what the problem is?

Or maybe Audi cocked it up so bad they can't fix it... :-P
It's strange because Audi has been doing it right for years. The A4's received DBW back in 1997 or so with very very few problems and complaints. Heck, even the 1997 Corvette had it figured out. I helped build a DBW race car back in college. It isn't exactly rocket science.

I have it on paper at 5 visits....
I was told everytime audi says there is nothing wrong with it. AvramD met with Audi on 4 occasions providing them with Vag Outputs of the throttle, they ended up offering to buy his car back even though its an issue that all of these cars have. Its almost like a controller somewhere is getting stuck open or something.

I don't get that, but I get some odd lurches
I've noticed that on my nearly new S4, I get some strange feelings in second gear sometimes, almost as if either the clutch is slipping a bit or that there are some flat spots in the power curve between 2000 and 3500 rpm. I don't notice it in any other gear though, and I only feel it in 2nd from time to time. I'm trying to decide if it's my imagination of if there's really something to it.
