They finally took my car today....
For all the trouble they put me through they put me in a piece of Lassie lettuce chevy cavalier... GM sucks *** they really do. Please takes notes from VW on how to make an interior. Everything is manual except the trannie (the only part that should be) Ugh, never going to them agian, sticking with audi of hv, even if i have to wait a month for the appointment, atleast they dont cancel a scheduled appt on me 3 times, and atleast they wont give me a pos rental.
Great now we are going to have snow and ice too, i am in a real great car for this ****. You could have atleast given me a the jeep liberty or chevy trail blazer you had there, but no since i was a young driver they wouldnt give me that..
(oh and on a side note i saw 4 other nogaro S4's there for service) Are we cursed?

Well 2 of those nogaros are in for permanent service
You can always ask for a better loaner car, especially when its gonna be bad weather. But having bought a car from then I get the same loaner cars you do. And they wouldnt give you them cause you were a young driver? Dude im 21 and they will give me any car I want.

Oh contrare, you get audi loaners since you got your car from them... i get crappy enterprise cars..
Unless DR has done away with that policy too. Lets hope mine doesnt make it a hatrick for them.

Well, when I used to get a loaner like that, I would play "see if you can catch the brake pads on
fire". The only thing you have to be careful of is if the car has plastic wheel covers, they melt very easily. GM brake pads don't really like high temps and it really doesn't take all that much to get huge amounts of smoke billowing out of the front wheels. It freaks people out at stoplights!

BTW, GM is too entrenched in the crappy interior mode to ever really change. Apparently there is quite an appetite for acres of cheap plastic among the american public. Also, it seems a lot of people like the artificially high throttle tip-in deal where the first 1/4 inch of pedal travel has like a 10 to 1 amplification rate and makes it seem like the car has some power; unfortunately 30 feet off the line you find out it doesn't...

I am absolutely AMAZED at what GM does for their interiors...
I mean, it's just fascinating that they can put the cheapest interior materials known to mankind into a car, with 5 shades of grey and the people who buy those cars are apparently blind to it.
