Joining the S4 family in a few weeks

Well its official, I'm joining the S4 family in a few weeks. I ordered my 2005 S4 6MT Nogaro Blue with Alcantara interior and every option except the sunshades. The car should be here by the end of the month. I am currently in a bind because I am trying to sell my 1999 A4 2.8Q which is listed in the classifieds before my car comes so I dont have to wait too long to pick up my car. I'm from Lake Forest Illinois and I heard from my roommate that there is someone in the area with an B6 S4 with an aftermarket exhaust on it. He said it sounded mean as hell and he drives a 1997 Camaro SS LT-4 so I know that it probably sounded really good to grab his attention the way it did. I was wondering if the person was on this board because I would like to hear an aftermarket exhaust in person since I have a feeling the video clips from the internet don't do them justice. I was also thinking since I wont have money for a while, I would remove the flanges from the exhaust that restrict the flow for a little extra something as far as sound goes. I figure if you drive a V-8 it should sound like a V-8. But the full APR exhaust will probably be my first purchase since it got the best results in the dyno shootout. Anyways, I will post more as time goes about my car and probably have questions since these forums have proven to be very useful in the past.

U ordered it and it is not in yet and u think its a b6 and it is in nogaro am i missing something

Its a new 2005...

but its from another dealership in the midwest so they have to ship it here. Its build week was the 43rd week of 2004 so it probably got here a month or two ago.

no power steering for me and metal it was just cause ours were in the same batch

they came over in october. i was just messing with u. i wish my b7 was going to be nogaro. there is nothing like owning a car that is that color u will get guys in ferraris starring at ur car... has happened to me

Well hopefully that wont happen to me. I really like the B7 but the fact that there is no Nogaro makes me not want to wait for one. I have waited for a Nogaro S4 since I first saw one in 2000, but I like a lot of the stuff like the quad tip exhaust on the B7. I will have to wait a few months for an exhaust but I hope a quad tip is available by the time I can afford an aftermarket exhaust because it seems like that is a big thing the B6 is missing as far as aesthetics.
