Mileage Question
I'm in the market for a CPO S4. What kind of mileage should I expect for between $35,000-$40,000? I've seen cars near $40,000 with vastly different mileages. I'd appreciate any advice.

My big question...
I've got a price range and I know what kind of car I want. Is it a bad strategy to call up several dealerships and tell them what I'm looking for? Tell them "I want manual, brilliant black '04 or '05. Find it for me." Will I get shafted doing this? What are my options?

i suggest that you do not tell them how much your goal amount is...
...visit a few dealers in your area and check out the inventory. if you see anything you like, start haggling. if you work it correctly, the dealer will bite. Jan/Feb are slow months for dealers. the end of the month is quota time. they will probably sell you anything just to move inventory and make quota. i got my car at a much lower price than what they were asking for. i also was able to get them to give me more for my trade than what they originally offered. they gave me more money than what i owed for the trade. good luck!! where are you located?

I'm from Georgia, but I'm at school in New York...
I'd like to buy a car in Georgia for a few small reasons but I'm near Riverside Audi which is in NJ and they have two cars that are near my price point. I'll need to get those prices lowered though. How much do you think I can get knocked off? I've got my finance through USAA so I won't bother with a dealer, so I need to keep that quiet until I lock down a price right?
