Rear View: Civic vs Audi

I have and from a distance my reaction was it looks like an Audi but something's not right. As soon
as I got a little closer (nighttime, 50 yards) it was obvious that it was not an Audi.

Are you trying to say the B7 looks like a Civic? If anything it's the other way around. I HIGHLY doubt that Audi saw a pre-production Civic and thought hm lets make our car look like that. Much more likely that Honda borrowed Audi styling for their little p0s. Nothing we can do now, both cars are in production. Live with it.

Although I'm not a fan of the B7 taillights, I actually like it better...
than the way the Civic lights are shaped. When compared side-by-side, they don't look as similar as when I view them separately on the road.

A frequently occurring theme here is that the B7 from the rear looks like a Civic.
