My car is 1yr old today! 9/04 build date with...
18k miles and I still look forward to driving it every day. '05 B6S4 BrilliantBlack 6MT sedan for those that don't know.
Only problem has been a recent 2181 cel which has been covered under warranty and should only result in 1 day out of the car assuming the aux rad hose from the TSB cures the problem. It's on order. I recently moved to PA from NJ and the service at my new dealer Knopf Audi has been an incredible improvement over my last dealer Princeton Audi (ranked dead last in the online dealer survey).
At the end of the day I am overjoyed with the B6S4. Even more so than with my '01 pearl white B5S4 which I drove for 4yrs and 80k miles. This car is my daily driver. I don't track it and don't mod it beyond winter wheels/tires (although those B7RS4 reps sure are pretty). The B8S4 will be at the top of my list of candidates when my lease expires 9/07 (assuming it's ready to go for MY 08).

your experience. As for me, only owned mine for a few months, build date 10/04, about 1500 mi. so far (I vanpool to work), no problems to date (just a small complaint re: hard to upshift sometimes in TIP mode), minor mods done are wheels and taillights and finally, previous Audi was an A6 2.7T. Although I miss it, I enjoy the power of my current S4 more!

I feel the same. Though I had a few issues early on, the car wasn't to blame...
Once those things were massaged out, the car has been just flawless. No squeaks, no rattles, no CELs (ever)... I love my car.
