I know ive asked before wtihout a response...but has anyone installed teh APR snub mount?

Is there a noticable difference? How hard was the install?

Are you sure that is available for the B6? If you click on the link, they only have the B5 kit. .

Can someone explain to me what this does? I don't get it.

It's basically the front engine mount. The stock is foam rubber this is polyeurethane

Not Necessary for B6

I don't know if it is even available for the B6. Both the B5 S4 and C5 A6 2.7T had excessive play in the drive line which made shifts (particularly the 1st to 2d shift) irregular--sometimes grinding, and usually not smooth. The APR snub mount and the AWE driveline stablizer got rid of the excessive play and the cars shifted much better.

The B6 S4 doesn't have this problem, so I don't know what value it would have.
