Default Yet another post deleted. Un-Fair Forum

It seems a really poor approach from OZAudi
That they seem determined to employ censorship
And delete posts containing info about products the forum owner does not financially benefit from.

Since this seems to be the case, the forum should be openly declared as a commercial forum for commercial interest of the owner, and the Name should be changed to reflect the business name of the owner.

I feel very mislead by the owner when the forum was first started and promoted to be for benefit of Audi owners, but seems now to be for the sole financial gain of the owner.

Default Thats exactly how i felt and treated when i was a member there......

Vertually i was told what to post there.... what i could say and what i couldnt.... and there was more to it than that.....
But its allso funny that every single person who is involved with this guy's crap is bias just like the owner of the website... and they all do not want to hear what is not benefficial to them....
Other people had experienced with certain products that happens to be this guy sells were unsatisfactory result there for the post gets deleted for the reason of people not to see the truth about that perticular product...
Now you tell me is that fair or not?

I take offence to the brush you have just painted me with! I consider myself one of the most impartial people on OzAudi. I have spoken out against Guy and Lucas in the past (even in the same thread) when I consider they are posting for political gain. I think you are grossly generalising the situation and trying to make something look far worse than it really is.

We all can sit here and point fingers at each other but whats the use.....

Quote:"forum that is free to use for all people with an interest in Audi's" does this also classifies as we all can express our thoughts????? or past experiences?????

not necceseraly with APR products? but other like GIAC and Revo????????

if so then why is that as soon as you mention something good about GIAC or REVO that is not related in any kind of way with APR the post gets deleted??????

Is OzAudi an APR only forum?????

if thats so then why not name it APR ONLY FORUM and make it clear to people......

Now that's a bit harsh. Not to mention unprofessional. If you want to get a bad name for yourself in business, this is a good start.

Any owner of a forum has the full rights to set rules around advertising. This is of course important, as its used to offset costs. What's important is you have written guidelines around what is and isn't allowed, as often many Audi enthusiasts are involved in selling product in one way or another. If you are the administrator for the forum in question, I suggest you publish rules around this (if you havnt already), and if someone continues to break your rules, replace their posts with initially appended warnings or later a standard notice that replaces the post. Simply deleting will probably and simply invokes frustration. It might make you feel good, but you'll loose goodwill in the market.
