I'm new -- have pity!
I know this could be a hackneyed subject guys, but I appreciate your patience. I'm about to be an Audi owner (one way or another), and have a choice between a late model A3 (turbo off-budget, sadly ) or a '93 100 Quattro. I've read through the US 100 forum pretty thoroughly (Jesus, those guys are prolific), and am now wondering: If something goes wrong with the 100, exactly how much trouble am I in?
What would you advise? I have to say that a V6 going through all 4 wheels is tempting, but sounds like minor repairs and maintainance could necessitate another job for me. Owning one of these in the US is one thing, but there can't be more than 5 of them on mainland Australia!

As Far as Traffic and messages Audiworld would easily have to be No.1 by far, and does not seem to play favourites or censor posts about products and vendors.

Well let me begin with saying that both of the cars that you are looking at are nice cars....
What ever car you end up desiding on you will be happy either way...but unfortunately you can have a dud car either way...
just make sure you get it checked out properly by your mechanic....
You will also have to think of long turm just incase if something goes wrong with the car....will you have spare parts available?....

When I get banned for a BS reason. Where is the justification. Yea sure its a private forum and Guy and do anything he likes with it. A member got banned because he was an Revo customer I'm sure if he was APR noone would worry about it and don't come in and reply with some BS story about ip addresses either because if I wanted to I could go through a proxy server and you would be none the wiser. The crap Guy keeps spinning is just amazing. Don't think I will be referring any business to Guy anymore. He has no idea about building networks and relationships, he's lucky he's in Queensland.

Walter, you tried a false ID & you got busted...
Face it - you got caught - your alter ego had a chance to identify himself, but he may have died, or gone on a world holiday. He also used several common IP's to you, so he must have been using your home & work computers, yet you cant even tell us his name? Unfortunately for you, there are 3 IT specialists that are moderators & you got caught out flat - face it.

Well you better look more closely at your IP logs, and you will find many more people
that have posted from same ip.
People Share computers, especially in workplaces.
What about public access internet pc's.
I believe you are out of line with that accusation Guy.
But I will give you a hint, look at my IP log, you will find at least 5 other people who have used my IP.
Some are employed on a casual basis, and when its quiet, they jump on the net.
Also we have had a Club meeting at my work, and heaps of people use our pc's.
And why should he disclose his name anyway to you.
Guy just be fair and get over it.
If their is False statements, direct personal attacks with no basis or profanity, yes delete and warn the poster.
Otherwise why have a Forum.
