Ok, this may be childish, but i am serious. en masse request to AOA re: US RS4 changes

can matt, 2953 (whoever he is), april, etc...contact or facilitate a communique from as many of us as possible to change their position on the 19 inch rims, the seats, the steering wheel, etc...? i'll do what i can to keep that car as close to pure as possible....

I complained about a lack of the cloth sport seats and they called me the next day to talk about this. Something about Germany deciding this and it wasn't really all AOA to blame.

You probably won't have any luck for the seats as they don't have side airbags.

I can live without those seats but the remainder needs to stay...

at first look the seats look uncomfortable potentially. Never know until you sit in them. I REALLY want that wheel. Just like the R32, that wheel makes the interior. -Pete

WAIT. I have an IDEA. read on ASAP...

i leave for geneva TOMORROW. if some of you guys can post your emails or names i can print out a list of those of us who demand the wheel and the seats and take it with me. i'll give it to the highest up i can find over there...hell, i'll make copies of the list and stick it on the windshields of each of the RS4s........

It's not a question of safety. New 3 series won't have side airbags at all

and the above kak article has this quote in it:

"And in conjunction with the new RS bucket seats, the belt system offers such a high standard of safety and restraint in a collision from the side that the RS 4 does not even require side airbags in order to meet the strictest crash standards and requirements"
