RS4 here in May of 06 WITH the 19's, Restyled Seats (Similar to the S4 but different) and I couldn't
This is according to AOA which had meetings with all the major dealerships across the US over this past week.
Major=Dealerships that had the most sales of S4's and higher end Audi's. The same dealers that got alloted the most RS6's between the Atlantic and the Pacific.
I've been told to trust 2953. I'm sure he's a great guy but I don't know who he is. Where is this steering wheel info coming from. No one has said that I can see.
Why don't hear anything positive like....
They will have power windows all the way around.
It will come standard with NAV.
If our cars are being stripped of so many things we MUST be getting something in it's place.
just my 2 pesos.
one thing has been consistent on AW from the well known sources we all (most of us know)...the car is due to hit our shores before calendar 2006. period. first deliveries in the UK take place this september already, some people in the UK already have order numbers and delivery dates...
if it IS may 2006 and the car has no aluminum wheel and no 19" option it will get to my party a little late, by then i'll probably have modded my TT, skipped the 911, and be waiting for the RS9...
i think we all just need an official US spec press release to ease our minds.
i just can't stop thinking about this damn machine. reminds me of that chick in college...
Everyone has thier "source".
I'm not going to bet my money or anything on what I wrote.
The only people that MAY have an idea are not on this board or at least they don't post. Nothing is concrete until those RS4's are here on american soil.
That being said, I do trust my source and it looks like we'll have to wait it out. For all of you that say I'm wrong...I hope YOU are right. Trust me I'm the last one on here who wants to wait till May, not get those 19's and not be holding on to that steering wheel.
Back to work.
1) The car just released in Germany 2 mos. prior.
2) It takes a while to alter the seats for NA.
3) It takes a while to alter the steering wheel for NA.
