nice post, thanks. It's quiet because there is no load on the engine...

at this point. The car is under braking and the injectors are shut-off.
Cool video either way!

Well you can actually hear it accelerating after it goes out of sight...

If you heard the interview with the driver at the official unveiling in Paris he said that it what a totally new feeling for the drivers because the motor is so quiet compared to a regular gas motor.

No, the diesels are really quiet...especially the Audi because it uses particle filters which act

like mufflers.

The last diesel car that ran at Le Mans was also noted for being strangely quiet.
