Hurricane survivor needs help.... My A4 was totalled! Crushed to a scant 24 inches tall!
Now I'm looking at using the insurance money to purchase a 2006 S-line, which I'm very excited about, but money's pretty tight. I'm in medical school and have limited funds...
Thus, I want to make sure I'm getting a good deal. Hope you guys can let me know how this sounds...
I'm dealing on a 2006 black on black A4, 2 wheel drive, 6sp manual, with premium, sunroof, S-line, and tech (without bluetooth) packages. The MSRP is 35k and some change. The dealer, however, will only give me $500 off the sticker price for the car.
Audi, additionally, is giving a $1000 to anyone who lost an audi in the hurricane, but still...i think that the dealer should be taking more off of the car. They claim that the car is in such high demand, they really wouldn't have to take any money off at all...
I plan on doing a premier purchase, as I take exquisite care of my vehicles, and don't drive much at all either.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. As well as any dealers out there that might want to cut a hurricane evaccuee a deal!

thanks
nick
Audi money and Dealer money are two completely different bed pans- contents of each should not be mixed.

dealer contribution and whatever proceeds from AoA toward hurricane replacement would be on top of that. '05s are sold out in the northeast - that car should be at or possibly below invoice with all the incentives you may qualify for.
good luck.
