So I had a run-in with a stock B5 S4 6-Speed the other day...
We did a couple of pulls from 20 - 130ish, and the results were very surprising. From a roll out punching it at 20mph, my APR Tuned 2.0T 6speed Quattro pulled hard on the S4. My A4 kept pulling strong, but the S4 started to gain ground after about 100mph. At 130mph, my A4 was still ahead, but not by as much as it was down at 75 - 80mph.
Bottom line, these cars are fast when tuned, and they are only going to get faster. I wouldn't be surprised if after a year or so, that a A4 with simple boltons is nearly as fast as a V8 S4. I can't wait to get the 100 octane progam put on the car next week. I'll make a video to show you guys how much of a difference race gas makes in these cars.

You gonna video the pump versus 100 octane progam at the 1/4 mile track? ...

Doubt it. A well prepped 1/4 mile track is death to AWD cars.
Having owned a very very very modified S4 2.7T, having gone through 3 transmissions and 4 clutches because of how hard launching at a 1/4 mile track is on the car, I doubt this car will ever see a 1/4 mile track.

I suspected as much.
I've been waiting for someone to try that match-up.
It's only a 250hp car, w/ almost a 3600lb curb weight. I figured you could do him with a chip.
I'm looking forward to doing it someday in my front-driver.
