Ipod Integration

Picked up my '06 A4 last night. When the salesperson was going over the car with me, I asked about Ipod integration. He opened the glove box and showed me what looked like a connector. He tried to access information in his database without any luck. He's to call me back.

When I got home and could get a better look in the glove box, there is no connector, just cut-outs for something.

Anyone have any info?

I think that us where the iPod connector will come out of after its installed. Last I heard they were talking November for the actual integration Kit

Ipod connector is on backorder. They have no idea when the dealers will get it. Awaiting my own.

hey go to ipod.com, and then go to auto integration. The picture they have up top is off an ipod in the glove box of an audi! Interesting.....

I have a brochure from the Audi dealer, it does in fact hook into the glovebox. Brochure also says available mid-summer??

Funny, I just installed iTunes 5 this morning. Hmmm, video capabilities. That can only mean one thing, future iPod with video capabilities perhaps?

Any idea on the pricing of the one from Audi?

Gauranteed it won't be made by Audi, either Apple or Dension perhaps.
