Dealership ratings for leased mods?

Anyone know of a running list of "bad" dealerships when it comes to chipping/modifying the a4 and them voiding your warranty/lease? I'm really just looking to APR it and possibly throw on some coil-overs. Anything out there? I'm in Washington DC/Northern Virginia. Thanks

With any lease on most dealerships......

They 'may' accept a car back that's been modified but you may also have to pay a penalty. One of the only mods I ever see that a dealership is willing to accept back without any problems or consequences is window tint, but I'm sure it's still up to the dealer's descretion.

As for coilovers or lowering springs, or other mods done to the car, just plan on spending the weekend removing everything before you take the car back. I've done it numerous times with other car and never had a problem. If you do the APR chipping, get the lockout feature so there's no way the dealership can activate to performance program. Or ask APR is they offer a removal service before you return the car, if you're worried about a dealership tech running a diagnostic scan when you return the car.

Thank you, I understand that at the END of the lease I'd have to return the car back to factory spec. What I'm concerned with beyond that is them completely voiding my contract because when I came in for the scheduled maintenance the diagnostic scan showed the chip...
