Front track CVT 2.0T; only had quattro Audis in the past. Do I need quattro?

Front track CVT 2.0T; only had quattro Audis in the past. Do I need quattro?
No snow in my region and the CVT looks like it can handle chipping. Any drawbacks to the plan? Feedback appreciated.

If you live in So Cal like I do, then no.....
Since it never snows and rarely rains (except for the first half of this year, but that was rare). For me, it was a better choice for fuel economy & price. But still, even in the rain, you don't need 4wd but it can help. If you live in the northern states where it snows a lot or in the mountain areas where you may run into snow or other bad roads (dirt roads, gravel roads, etc), then sure Quattro may be a better choice. But it all depends on where you live and what conditions you plan on driving your car in.

I live in Redondo Beach. I wouldn't mind getting a look at the mods you've made to your car, especially the lowering and rear spacers. I think I will go ahead and mount a pair of 10 mm rear spacers on the car to give it a little more aggressive look.

Buy or lease?
I would never buy a new front track. Resale can be difficult. You never know what twists life will throw you. Might have to move to Maine. =)
Lease? Doesn't matter much in everyday driving... the CVT surges a bit at low speeds. Like others said it's probably too weak to chip. But it's quicker to begin with.
