Default This APR setup is faaaast. Just beat a WRX STi...

At lunch today, I pulled up to a stop light and next to me is a WRX STi with Cobb Tuning stickers on the window. He looked over and then looked away, so I wasn't sure if he was going to try and race. The light turned green and he started to take off, so I did as well. I short shifted 1st, and when I went into second and got on it I pulled from slightly behind him to next to him, then out in front of him, then into third and I kept pulling on him. He had a pretty amazed look on his face, and by the sound of his exhaust you could tell he was trying.

Makes me wonder if I should put the badges back on so they know what just beat them...

PS, I was in my APR 100 octane program at the time. 2nd and 3rd gear are just amazing.

Default Nice. I can beat an STI as well.

Default i assume u were running 100 octane as well? does anyone

here have the apr chip on a automatic?

Default Let me get this straight, your APR A4 beat an STi?

I find that very hard to believe, I see that you have an S4 in your sig, you sure you weren't on the S when you raced him?

Default hmmmm, 200hp + chip = beating STi, doubtful

I am not saying you didn't beat the other car, but is it possible that he wasn't an Sti and just a normal WRX?

With my Cobb tuned WRX, I could easily walk away from a stock B5 S4...

Just as a reference, my WRX put down 224/223 hp/tq on a mustang dyno with a flat tq curve from about 3k-5.5k and a flat hp curve from 5.2k to redline.
