Just got into a lease at the end of June... Coming from an extremely problematic 2002 1.8T Jetta, I LOVE THIS CAR.... I have driven many high end cars, i.e. Maserati, Maybach, Mercedes SLR, Lambos... having a rich uncle has its perks (if only i could get him to pay my car payments)... Obviously this car doesn't compare to those but my point is it beats the sh*t out of anything in its price range as far as an overall car... I read magazines that rule the new bmw 3-series as a much better car.... I test drove it, two things that really p'd me off was it doesn't have a spare tire because apparently it has 300 mile run flats (what do you do if you bend ur rim in the middle of nowhere?), and I felt like the exterior design they have switched to looks terrible...

My new 2005.5 A4 Quattro has Bose, Leather, Tiptronic.... Fully loaded besides Nav+.... So far I have added the Kenwood DDX Headunit w/gps and 35% tint... I am planning to add the Forge BOV or Atmospheric Valve, whichever u want to call it... coilovers, upgraded xenons... APR chip... BBS 18" rims...

That is a clean install!

Does that unit have a nav system too? As much as I would like to use my factory Nav+ as a video monitor, I use it enough now that I would really miss it.

BOV stands for Blow Off Valve... Make that whoosh sound from the turbo... the one I have is really tabbed an atmospheric release valve...

 

Thanks ... yes you can connect the kenwood navigation unit to it also like I have done... I would stick with the Nav+... you could spend about $500 and get another video source going on it...
