iPod via Icelink installed in my B7 with Symphony II+ at long last!
At long last I have iPod connectivity with my Symphony II+ and I have one person to thank for it - TeddyBGame!! without his custom harness, this never would have been possible!
His step-by-step directions and assistance are second to none. Absolutely flawless harness, install and documentation.
I've also got the Sirius pass through, and am just waiting on my Sirius unit to arrive so I can plug it in.
Very easy and straightforward install. Don't have control of iPod via iPod, but steering wheel controls work to fast forward and change tracks, either within a playlist or randomly.
I've got a 2007 A4 2.0 with Symphony II+. No TPMS.

teddybgame makes the harness, he is pretty easy to find
no song info on the head unit - acts like a cd in the cd changer

trust me, after a long time of searching, teddybgame is the only source of this harness. in order to run an ipod and sirius on your Sym II+, you need custom wiring - there is no commercial source.

no text, no deal...
the symphony II + is designed to display cd text and id3 tags. no cable is worth it until the song info is displayed from ipod. also, the whole notion of 6 playlists is bogus
better idea? burn 6 cds jam packed with mp3s (as the car's audio system isn't good enough for .aiffs) and get your song info.
as of yet...we can't have our cake and eat it too.
