Is it possible to use a 3rd party hands free bluetooth kit with the rns-e?

RNS-E can be rigged up to mute your music and play 3rd party Bluetooth audio over the speakers...
but it will not integrate in any way with the Tel functions of the RNS-E or the steering wheel. For that you would need to have an Audi tel interface on your CAN bus.
BTW, having used a variety of Navs and now the RNS-E w/ Bluetooth, I can honestly say that I'd rather have a car without navi than a car without Bluetooth any day. Nav is fun, but Bluetooth really improves your quality of life. Bluetooth's like having a garage door opener or a microwave oven -- I don't know how I ever lived without it.
Thought I'd mention that here because it came as quite a surprise to me. I used to hate using a cell phone in my car, but since I got Bluetooth I love it. Nav's nice and all, but Bluetooth -- now that's a Godsend.
