I am kind of new in this stuff, but here is the question (or questions), I bought 06 A4 2.0T which has the Symphony II radio, yet I sow the new Sympnony II radios for the 07 models and they look better than the 06, my uqestions is the following, is it possible to get the dealer to change the new 07 radio to a 06 with lossing the warranty (or put the new model radio by anyone), I ghuess the other questions is I realized that the 07 radio can play MP3 something that the 06 don't do, can a Ipod connection be added to the 06 symphony II, I will appreciate your answer... anybody.

I feel your pain. I had ordered my 2006 last year, then I heard that that an MP3 capable SymphonyII+ was available for MY2007. I asked the dealer if it was possible to get the new unit. I was told no, even though the car had not yet gone into production! Eventually, I retrofitted an RNS-E (navigation).
From the guys on the navplus forum, I saw that the 2007 has an RNS-E type connector (2 pin difference though).
The existing harness in your 2006 will not accept the SymphonyII+, but there are guys in the navplus forum that can hook you up with one. As for the unit itself, you can always order it from the dealer and install it yourself.
As to the warranty, unless you muck something up during the install, your warranty won't be compromised. The dealer won't even notice.

You can do what I did...
I purchased a Dice Electronics (I-AUDI-R) iPod integration for my '06 A4 from Enfig Car Stereo. If you do a search for the word "dice" on the audio forum, you will find a lot of info. You'll also see the Dice unit is considered to be the best and you may find my review.
I'm very picky about the stereo equipment I purchase, and while I didn't really like it when I first purchased it I've never regretted the purchase. I really like the thing a lot now and the sound quality is really very good with my iPod Video.
