RS4 rear sway bar
just bought the RS4 sway bar and it does not fit , bought from ECS they claimed it was for my car B7 2.0TQ , dealer charge 1 hour to put it on which is right at the end did not fit, should ECS pay for the 1 hour of the dealer ?

Then your dealership is pathetic. It fits. Take it back to them and smack them on the forehead...
can you tell us what didnt seem to match up? It comes with slightly larger center Ubolts and bushing if I recall correctly but otherwise it should match right up. Its been done many many times. If you lay it on the floor over you old bar it should be identically shaped and sized just thicker. You need the larger bushings and brackets to bolt it up but it should come that way if you bought the package one from ECS.

Can you explain where it hit?
If it is the RS4 swaybar it is literally identical in shape and mounting locations. You should be able to match them up together precisely. The only difference is that it is 4mm thicker than a sport bar. I have a 24mm bar on my car and it fit fine.

If they tried to install it without the suspension under load it is difficult...
If the part numbers are correct, it will fit. No question about it. It can be done at home on ramps in under an hour. If you can, take it back and have them explain where it doesnt fit and try and be there for the install. Again, the two bars are exactly the same in length and shape. If they aren't than you were delivered the wrong part.
