Bose Sound
I just picked up my new A4 Avant. Supposed to have the $1000 Bose option package, but there is not one "Bose" emblem anywhere, as there was on my 2002 A4. Is it possible I got the standard sound system??? It did come with XM satellite.

While the sound isn't bad, my first impression was that it was not as good as my Bose stereo in my 2002 A4. I'll bet It's not Bose. I think I may have gotten screwed>?!

Bose system definitely has "Bose" written on the speakers.
I wish it had some indication of "Bose" on the screen when it starts up like the older Bose systems, but no such luck. Only way to tell is that in the sound settings there is no setting for DSP or such since the A4 Bose has the AudioPilot automatic settings.

Precisely. This image shows that Audi corrected the error
by sending a new revised monroney (original had the bose option)
to quote bhvrdr,
