to bose or not to bose?
hey guys,
im a b5 owner looking to get a b7 but im not sure which options i should get. is the bose system THAT much better than the non-bose? i have the bose in my b5 but ive never heard the non-bose system so i cant compare it. only con is the bass. sometimes it gets too droney/annoying. also, is it possible to get the titanium package options (blacked out window trim and grill) w/o getting the titanium package? i can ask the dealer but the dealer was the one who told my parents that getting the air suspension ont he q7 will cost $9000 (which is complete bull****).

I hated the Bose system I had in my B5 S4, Use the 1,000 bucks and get a REALLY nice
set of Front speakers(seperates) and nice little amplifier to run them, and have enough left over for a nice dinner.

FWIW Bose in the B7 is better than the Bose in the B5, but neither is stellar.
I've had both Bose in the B5 and now in the B7. It is definitely better than the B5, but as others have said it is likely not worth the price for most people.
The black grill is available online and probably not to hard to swap as long as you have an S-Line. The window trim wouldn't really be worth it to swap out. The real key to the titanium package (for me anyway)is the black headliner...which would likely also be to pricey and involved to swap out.

thats what i dotn like abotu the titanium package, th eblack headliner.
i lvoe the 2 tone interior. one thing i dont like about the b7's (or the b6's) is that they dont offer 2 tones like they did for the b5's. atleast w/o the titanium package i have some contrast with the platiunum healiner. i guess i have to listen to both system and decide from there.
