RNS-E retrofit question

RNS-E retrofit question
My RNS-E retrofit is great, but I can't get the nav info to display between the tach and speedo. I have vag coded with the proper code, pulled the fuses to the instrument cluster and radio, to no avail. Does anyone know what I need to try next?

Provided you have the correct code in adaptation channel 62 of the instruments (most likely what was already there PLUS 4), then the best thing is to just wait.
Sometimes the CAN bus messages to the DIS don't get properly sent when you setup the new value, but if you wait (maybe a few hours, maybe a few days) it SHOULD start working OK.

Well, I see you've already been over to navplus.us.
You realize, of course, that even if you do this successfully the red DIS can be a little buggy in navigation, right?

change value of ch 62 to 5 and you will be fine...
...sometimes ECU doesn't allow to run values greater than 19+ so if your instrument cluster default value was 16 and you add 1 for radio and 4 for nav...ECU will not accept it.
You can easy use lower values.
1 for radio and 4 for nav = 5
if you have phone system you can add another 2 (7 total)
