Radio interference due to cell phone?

E very time my cell phone rings there is interference with the Symphony II radio (sound system, whatever), but if I shut the radio off, the noise from the interference stops. I asked the dealership if they could anything about it and they said they couldn't. At the same time, my friends 07' A4 doesn't get any interference noise at all from his cell phone (we both have Razr's).

Is there any way to solve the problem?

I think this has to do with the carrier/network (GSM, etc.)

I have Cingular and it happens all the time with any type of speaker. It's very annoying but the price you pay for a celluar phone. I think Sprint is a little better with this but I don't think they use a GSM network.
