Default Purchasing Dark Wood Trim?

Any ideas on where would be a good place to purchase dark wood for the interior trim? I am looking to swap out my brushed aluminum. Thanks in advance.

Default It's too bad S-line limits your trim options ...

I would have also opted for wood trim (light wood in my case, the type that comes with beige interior for more contrast). I like how BMW gives you a choice of two wood and aluminum trims with any configuration model. S-line also limits you to ebony interior. If I could have had gray with dark wood, that's the interior I would have gone with.

Default I have an S-Line Titanium and anticipate that about the 1 year mark...

I will be swapping out the piano black for some sort of aluminum or wood. Any advice on where to buy would be great.

ECS has the OEM Al trim from the S-line for about $850-ish.

Default Personally, I like it

It's one of the few things people compliment when they enter the car...however, it does stink that you are limited in choice from the get go

I too would have preferred wood, but it wasn't available back in 2003 for the "base" models. This link here is the best I have found over the years for aftermarket wood. Never seen the finished product in person though.

http://exoticwooddash.com/</a

Default I thought it would be more $ Anyone used this prod?

I checked out this site and it seems the kit for the A4 is a bit cheap at $240, for 30 pieces. If it is good quality I would consider it.

Default Funny cause I am thinking about getting rid of my wood trim...

just came on here to do a search to see who has a decent price on a aluminum kit. ECS's price of $850 is outrageous. Not sure if I want to buy this car after my lease so I may have to think about this. The wood trim makes me sick! Not my style. Is it hard to do a swap?
