I read the tire pressure for mine on the drivers side inside door panel. I have a 2004 A4 ultrapsport with Sumitomo HTR+ 235/40 R18 and I pumped them up to 41 yesterday.

I am assuming that this is okay?

Default Depends on the roads around your area...
go for a bit softer if they tend to be more rough/bumpy
