Picked up my A4 S-line a week ago. What tires did you get?
I got the best OEM tires evAr!!!1!

Michelin Pilot Sport SP2 = $255 ea @ tirerack. My salesman opt'd for the "Performance Summer Tires" instead of the standard tires as a $0 cost option. According to tirerack.com, they outperform the Goodyear Eagle F1 in every area save wet performance and treadwear.....and they're 4lbs lighter per tire. These are the best OEM tires I've ever had by far. Just about everything...
They got really noisy after 1k mles, they were squirmy under hard cornering, and I've NEVER driven a tire more prone to hydroplaning on the freeway. Living in Seattle, that's a big deal. My frame of reference is Pirelli Pzero Rossos, Bridgestone S03 PP, and Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S. Out of the bunch, the Contis were easily the worst. I honestly think the Blizzak LM-25s I have on now for winter handle better in every respect compared to the Contis. For the price, there just isn't any reason I can conceive of to buy these things.

Yeah. I had the original Conti Sport Contacts on my B5. They were terrible in the rain. Absolute ca-ca. I feel for ya.
