I have a bad hesitation problem from
giving the car gas, almost coming to a stop at a corner, then if I want to go and step on the gas, the car doesn't move for a couple of seconds.........then it kicks in..........this f*king sucks!
Does anyone else have this problem? Will a chip cure it?

Sounds like Turbo Lag...if you have the 2.0T, it's very normal...
..and Yes, Chipping the car will dramatically reduce the lag due to the massive increase in torque at low rpm's...(I strongly recommend the APR Tune / 91 0r 93 octane depending on where u live)! Lata

that aint turbo lag - its the tiptronic not knowing what to do...
it mainly happens when you dont make a complete stop. (or give the car time to decide it needs to downshift to first)
my service advisor acknowleged it when he drove the car, said it was wierd but said there were no bulletins so he couldnt do aynthing.
i had heard elsewhere that there was a calibration or a synchronization between the gas pedal and the throttle (drive-by-wire crap)
I started manually downshifting into first before coming to a stop, but if you dont come to a complete stop you will now be in manual shift mode
so yea, I analyzed it, its a pain in the *** alright, make me wish audi would get that daggum DSG in this config.

wrong 2nd turbo, and
don't want the lag even it was my first, to me that's too damn slow and I don't want to get used to it. It never happened in my other car. I drive in SMode now and seems to keep shorter, and when I want it to go to almost a non existence level I use tip. the thing that pisses me off is when you're at the corner and want to go across a major road, and you step on it and the car lags, BOOM, accident b/c the damn lag. I shouldn't have to wait....if I have an in I want to go, this is a German Sports Car right?
