It's been raining for what feels like weeks and this was the first weekend it didn't rain in a long time. So, being the car nut that I am, I layered up, sucked it up and washed and dried both my A4 and wife's Maxima in the driveway. I was supprised the hose wasn't frozen solid.

I have a theory on what color to get for any given car.
1) If you have a favorite color, and the car you want is available in that color, get it.
2) If you luck up on a really sweet deal on a specific car, and you don't dislike the color, get it.
3) But, if you are ordering and can get any color and you're not really sure what color to get, look at the car ads. What color is 'your' car in the brochures/magazine ads/ tv ads, etc. Manifacturers have teams of experts who decide what color looks best for a specific model, so follow their lead.
Examples that come to mind:
Nissan Murrano was intoduced and all the ads showed the suv in a copper/orange color, I think that is the perfect color for that suv.
1997 A4 ads were mostly yellow or red cars, I got a black '97 A4 and really wished I had gotten red or yellow.
What color is the B7 in most ads? Quartz grey.
that's my 2ct.
