changing driving light bulbs

changing driving light bulbs

Can anyone please tell me which is the easiest way to change the fog light bulbs? The manual doesn't state how. Would it be easier from the bottom or thru the wheel wells?

Want to change rear plate bulbs also, don't see any screws in housing, do I have to take off trunk lid interior parts?

Any help is appreciated.

Remember though, they are FOG lights, not "driving lights"...

Unless you're driving a Civic with a spoiler...

Thanks Houston5, those are the bulbs I will be using. Those directions are straight forward and easy!
I'll do a search to install the rear plate lights

You're probably right. Most drivers have never been educated

as to how foglights should be used. Unfortunately turning them into "styling lights" (I kind of like that) often detracts from their proper function as foglights.

I'm sure most people like the appearance of their vehicle with those lights on at all times.

Having better driver education probably wouldn't change that, since most people wouldn't really care if they were still using them extraneously, and would dismiss the eye strain on other drivers argument as inconsequential. I will say that disagree that overuse "detracts" from the proper function; I don't see how overuse would have any impact on the functionality of these lights in the intended conditions. They either work in the pea soup, or they don't. IMO, I actually have yet to find an OEM fog that meaningfully improves visibility in intense fog.
