Seat belt sleeve missing? But why?
Coming up on 5K service, making a list of items to correct. I noticed the driver's seat belt doesn't have a sleeve below the buckle on the stationary side, but the passenger does. I mentioned to the dealer's service guy. He checked the showroom, and NO Audi has one. Searched the forum for A/S5 interior pix and none have it, so it seems to be true. I can't figure out why Audi would do that from a styling and/or practical perspective. Any ideas?

Here's a picture, it's the gray part visible just above the edge of the seat, just below the belt release. Is that involved with child car seats? I assumed it was a cosmetic cover of the stalk.

I used that term because the gray part in the picture is a hollow soft vinyl cover around the stalk below the belt release. Much like a sleeve around the arm. It was as descriptive as I could think of w/o the actual part name.
