New Audi S5 Cabriolet reviewed by CAR (UK)
Seems like it gets a pretty good review, though some of the compliments they gave the S4 seem to have turned into critiques on their take of the S5 cabrio. that's actually a very mediocre review in my mind...a bit disappointing. That DSG 'booming engine" issue sounds a bit problematic. guess i'll have to drive the car and see for myself. it's either this car or a 911 Targa 4S for me.

Apparently what CAR didn't like...AW likes
The DSG "issue" as it was considered by CAR seems to be a plus when it comes to the AW review posted today. They seem to like the extra character that it gives the engine and some more sense of occasion than just a regular A5 might give you. It almost sounds like a plus seeing as the S5 is supposed to be more performance oriented and if you want refinement the A5 is surely what you would look at. Between a 911 Targa and an S5 though...that is a tough choice. I wish my life was so difficult!
