Differences between 2008 and 2009 S5?
I've been planning on getting in the queue for a 2010 S5, but I've happened upon a gently used 2008 that interests me.
The question I have is, what did Audi change between the 2008 and 2009 model years? Anything significant?

Nothing major.
Most often mentioned would be the power folding mirror. That being said, not sure if Canadian spec cars also lost that, or even had that to begin with. Our cars do have slightly different specs up here. Better check with afretes for Canadian spec.

Trying to check out the Audi USA site...
Trying to check out the Audi USA site to check out options, but my browser keeps on re-routing to the Canadian site. Grrr.
One thing I'm concerned about is that the car won't have the cold weather package, which is standard in Canada.
Could someone tell me what that includes as an option on the American S5s?

Drive select is offered on the 09 but not on the 08
Folding mirrors went away in 09
rear fog light went away in 09
I am not 100% sure but I believe FSI direct injection was not offered in 08 but is definitely present in the 09 model

neither the 08 nor the 09 have a "cold weather" package, accdg to the brochures
I have both brochures, and the 08 has the following "packages" as options
Convenience (A5)
S-Line (A5)
Technology (A5/S5)
the 09 has the following "packages" as options
Premium (A5)
S-Line (A5)
Technology (A5/S5)
Navigation (A5/S5)
in the 09 Navigation package, voice control is now included.

Standard equipment..
Heated seats, auto dimming mirrors, xenons, LED DRLs, Bluetooth, Satellite radio, leather, 19s, sport suspension, Ski sack, auto lights, rain sensing wipers, sunroof. I think that covers it. Other differences between 09 and 08, voice command was added in 09, and Side assist was a stand alone in 08 and became part of the tech pack in 09.
