I hope you are wrong as I think that it would be a great all around family vehicle.
I would like more cargo space on occasion but do not like the boxy look of A3s or Avants so a hatch solves that dilemma. It gives you the coupe styling, flexibility for carrying larger items and the looks of a business sedan. Throw in an aggressive engine and you have my ideal car configuration.
I hope Audi brings to the USA a smaller version of the A7 sport-back.

I agree! An S5 Sportback would be an excellent replacement for the S4 Avant we're not going to see in the US. Audi, bring it!!!
