A5 2.0 TFSI offered in the US next summer
Here's some relative data of the 2.0 TFSI compared to 3.2 tiptronic:
Price: -4,750 Euro
0-100km: 6.5sec (+0.1 sec)
City MPG: 9.3 vs 13 l/100km (-29%)
Highway MPG: 6.3 vs 6.7 l/100km (-6%)
Combined: 7.4 vs 9 l/100km (-18%)
"The new S5 Cabriolet, which reaches U.S. dealerships this fall, will be offered with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, among other powertrain configurations. Also, the A5 coupe will get the same four-cylinder engine starting with the 2010 model, which goes on sale this summer."
If I read the rest correctly the manual transmission will be dropped for the A5 (and replaced by new 7-speed automatic) but the S5 will still offer this. Also the V8 will be dropped for the S5 an be replaced with 3.0 V6 which would be as powerful.
