Strange Salt Pattern on Doors
Anyone have an idea why the rest of the car would dry quicker than just the doors? I can't imagine that the paint or metal is different on doors than the rest of the car? Sorry, no pictures, but picture a white car with painted black doors. It was that obvious. Thanks.
2) Different temperatures on different surfaces. For example, hood could dry faster due to engine heat, etc.
3) Has your car been waxed or detailed? Certain panels may repell water and grime more than other non-treated areas.
4) Road spray blasts certain panels of the car harder (behind the wheels), thus washing off waxed areas. These unprotected spots tend to repell water less and remain wet longer after driving.
