Anyone tried driving the 6MT barefoot? Also: Heel and Toe, AWE pedals, politics, religion.

Anyone tried driving the 6MT barefoot? Also: Heel and Toe, AWE pedals, politics, religion.
I should have done this on day one. It would have better clued me into the tricky friction point(s) of the clutch. As if I needed to "bond" with this car any more!
Now, I got the AWE pedals because I found heel and toeing in this car to be impossible. I can't twist enough to get my heel over and I don't have wide enough soles to make the edge of the foot work either.
Was Audi so burned by the 60 Minutes "unintended acceleration" debacle that they placed the accelerator far away from the brake to prevent such issues?
Anyway, I haven't installed the AWE pedals yet. I hope they don't hurt my bare toes because I plan to do some more naked foot driving. :-) Great-looking product and very nicely priced.

I found I can only heal toe shift if I'm braking really hard, otherwise i rev match like crazy
and it sounds epic.
My old car was a mini and I could heal/toe like no other.. I miss that car.
