Is there any AR/RS6/TT owners that would want to test fit my wheels?

Default Is there any AR/RS6/TT owners that would want to test fit my wheels?

I'm thinking to change and need to know if these wheels would fit any other Audi models. I doubt there are many cars these would fit on. Obviously they'll work on a B5 RS4, but to fit a B7 RS4 would require rolling the fenders with 275's. Might fit an Allroad, RS6, and I wonder about a TT?

So basicly, anyone who would be willing to test fit them... let me know! They are 18x9 e15 if that helps.

I'm thinking of going to the next offset option and would need to sell these to do that. That's the reasoning behind this.

Default So a note on the allroad wheels.....

The long story:

Just for curiosity's sake. The allroad is a weird conglomeration of parts for sure. It has its own, unique parts, such as its own R+P for its own diff ratios, and its own length CV halfshafts; many many parts from the A6 platform, whose spaceframe it shares; and it has many parts common to the S4, including many front end parts.

One of the things that is unique to the allroad is wheel spacing. The front end configuration is semi S4-ish with some A6 parts thrown in, and you end up needing wheels that are ET20, with the wheel mounting surface 20mm outboard of centerline. So, "normal" ET35 Audi rims will rub. I run ET43 B6S4 rims with a 30mm H+R bolt on spacer (essentially giving me ET13 wheels, increasing my track 7mm per side over stock).

The short story:

If you want to cruise up to Boulder, I'd happily fit the wheels with and without the spacers, but I bet it would be easiest to just scratch "allroad" off your list unless they are running spacers.

I think we've all learned something today.

If you run an ET13 now, and mine are ET15... it sounds like it might work actually.

Default I once did a drawing, and compared to the stock AR wheel, it's about 8.5mm further in, 29mm out

The wheel is 9" wide vs a 7.5" which is 1.5" and come to about 38mm, that's roughly how it's spread out. Thoughts?

Default Just to show how obsessed I can get, here was a drawing I made when searching for wheels

It was every wheel I thought might work on my WB, trying to avoid doing anything custom. I just didn't have that kind of money! I put the wheels I knew worked stock, and went from there. I found some pretty interesting stuff, might prove useful to someone someday. Of course you can't tell which lines are which without having the car file, but the wheel data is on the page.

Default D2 A8/S8s can easily soak up a 9" or 10" wheel with a 275, but the ET15...

....has me a little unsure. I can provide a vehicle for test fitting if you want though.

Default It would be interesting to check. If nothing else it might give you guys another wheel source

The B7 RS4 guys are loving having theses wheels as an option. Not a lot of choices out there in a wide Audi wheel!

Do you live anywhere near Highlands Ranch? Would you like me to come to you or you come here. Obviously we'll need to jack up the car to change a wheel.

As an asside, do you have the wheel specs on the stock ones? I can add it to my chart... ;-)
