That's what I have been reading too. I'm thinking of the F1 Asymmetric for my next set this spring.

I realize this. I'm torn between the Asymmetric the GSD3 and the PS2s currently.

Default I had two sets on the '04 GLI I had. They were great till they wore a bit
then got all sorts a loud on the road. Only went like 20k miles or so.. I had a dedicated winter set up on that car as well.

Default buy them, no questions asked. hard to swallow the price
but omfg best street tires i've driven with. grippy, best in wet, quiet, just an amazing tire.
