Question on Dealer Allocations....

....a good friend of mine(and fellow TT owner) has ordered and put down deposit on a new S5. The CT dealer, who for the current time shall remain nameless, now says they are having a hard time getting an allocation to order the car....can anyone shed any light on the process? Thanks in advance.

this is true but they can always just locate one from another dealer and make a trade

for a future car or with what they have.

They should know their allocation when they accept your deposit and place the order..

Either they're trying to play shennigans and found another buyer who's willing to pay more for your allocation hoping you'll go away or they're afraid you'll back out of the deal and they'll be stuck with a special order car when they can quickly sell a more generically spec'd out car..
