Funny noise
Hey guys,
I've got a funny noise coming from my front end. It is something to do with one of the wheels or hubs or something. It is definitely coming from a rotating mass. It is a squeeking noise that has a very slight oscillation. Not like a suspension squeek but a rubber squeeking sound. It is most definitely not metallic. The only time I can hear it is with the windows down at less than 30mph in a very quite setting with no traffic around. The squeeking slows down when the car slows down and isn't audible below 5mph. Anyone have any idea what this is? I thought it might be a pad or caliper hanging, but I can't see any definitive striations in the disk to show it. I know for a fact it isn't a belt, I've checked that a couple times. It doesn't sound critical, but I'd prefer my little black coupe didn't sound like a 94 chevy going down the street. Any suggestions are helpful, thanks.
